Bell Open Streets

Bell Open Streets was a milestone event that transformed the City of Bell’s streets into vibrant spaces for connection, creativity, and community. Hosted in partnership with local organizations like SELA Bicycle Center, the event invited residents to experience their streets free of cars, celebrating active transportation, local culture, and the joy of open public space. As part of the festivities, our Just4LA team created a collaborative art piece featuring portraits of attendees and organizers, capturing the spirit of the day and the people who made it possible.

By reimagining how we use our public spaces, Bell Open Streets demonstrated the power of community envisionment in shaping a more connected and equitable Southeast LA. We’re proud to have contributed to this vision and honored to have received a Certificate of Service from the City of Bell. We can’t wait to see how this momentum grows and continues to transform the streets of Bell for years to come.
